This week is National Payroll Week, a week in which we celebrate the hard work of our payroll professionals here at HR Strategies!

Generally speaking, employees view payroll as simply receiving a paycheck and everyone knows that nothing can destroy New%20pay%20daymorale as quickly as a problem that affects pay. Business owners are often painfully aware of the time consuming process that is involved in preparing those paychecks, distributing them, and the myriad of reporting and tax filing that comes as a result of paying employees. The process of payroll demands time from an employer; time that could be better utilized concentrating on the revenue-producing side of operations. HR Strategies Payroll Department offers a prescribed and proven process; which is customized to individual business needs through a variety of tools.

Our dedicated payroll specialists (Sharon Farrar, Kathya Fulleda, and Vickie Webb) easily manage employee information, and simplify the payroll process by checking for accuracy, offering the option of pre-approval by our clients, preparing direct deposits and checks, preparing garnishments, and processing a variety of management reports and payroll registers.

As Director of Payroll Operations, Angie Passmore not only oversees the daily operations of the payroll department, but also is responsible for maintaining our high level of accuracy and satisfaction of our payroll clients. In addition, Angie is responsible for setting up and managing new clients through their first few payroll cycles. She supplies clients with customized reports and helps with the management of garnishments. Angie is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Prior to joining our team in 2004, she was responsible for all aspects of payroll, human resources, and benefits administration for a school supply company.
