Are you taking advantage of our Direct Deposit services? Did you know that we also offer “Pay Cards”? Both of these options provide great benefits to both the worksite employee, as well as to our clients. As a client, if 100% of your employees take advantage of the Direct Deposit option and/or the pay card option you can eliminate your need for a delivery fee. The savings of this small fee could add up to about an extra $200 per year. When all employees select Direct Deposit and/or Pay Cards, you no longer have the need for payroll packages to be delivered to you because all of the associated reports and invoices are available to you via web access! Another advantage to our clients of having all of their worksite employees on this option is that their employees don’t have a need to leave the jobsite to go cash their payroll checks on payday. So how do you entice your employees to switch from paper checks to electronic pay? One way is to point out the advantage of not having to wait for paychecks to arrive, and the non-issue of check cashing fees. Their pay is automatically deposited into their accounts or loaded onto their pay card on pay day. Direct Deposit and Pay Cards are also advantageous to them as they are not scrambling to get to the bank before closing time, carrying around cash that could be stolen, or missing work hours to go cash/deposit their checks. When selecting Direct Deposit the employee is allowing us to deposit their paycheck electronically straight into their bank account. In fact, the employee may even split their pay between several different accounts. Employees who select to have a pay card will be issued a bank card from either SunTrust or BB&T with a VISA logo.
